Police: Unidentified suspects accused of stealing 29 pairs of shoes

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – Jonesboro police search for a man and woman believed to have stolen 29 pairs of shoes from a store Saturday.

According to a police report by JPD, they were called out to Gap at the Mall in Turtle Creek after a manager doing inventory learned 29 pairs of shoes were missing.

Police then checked surveillance video and found a woman and man walked in through the door entering the women's section and eventually grabbed shoes and placed them inside a Disney bag. Both then were seen exiting through the men's section of the store.

The manager told police the 29 pairs of shoes amounted to $1,098.55.

Police are currently searching for the suspects and encourage anyone with information to call Crimestoppers at 935-STOP.
