Man misses probation meeting arrested for multiple drug charges

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – A man was arrested on Sunday after he not only violated his probation but was found with multiple kinds of drugs.

According to a police report, officers were dispatched to check on a man who was slumped over his steering wheel with the vehicle still running.

While talking with 46 year old Robert Wilson, police noticed he kept shuffling items in his pockets. After refusing to stop digging his pockets, one of the officers asked him to step out of his vehicle.

Officer say when Wilson stepped out they noticed a black crack pipe fall from his shorts onto the ground.

They proceeded to search Wilson and found rocks to be crack cocaine and pills wrapped in napkins inside his pocket.

He was then placed under arrest and while being taken to the Craighead County Detention Center, one of the officers contacted his probation officer who reported Wilson had missed his meeting with him on Friday.

Wilson faces multiple felony drug charges and was released from the detention center.
