Three arrested on several drug charges in Jonesboro

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT)-  Three people were arrested early Saturday morning on several felony drug charges.

Eric Kent, 32, was driving in Jonesboro when Officer Bryan Bailey pulled him over on Highland Dr. Keisha Forkum, 24, and Kerry Wilson, 36, were passengers in Kent's car. 

Several bottles of prescription pill bottles were found in the vehicle, as well as drug paraphernalia and digital scales. 

The police report says Forkum looked like she was hiding something in her pants. Meth ice, several baggies, and more prescription drugs were found.  There were eight different kinds of prescription drugs found in total.

Kent's charges include:

  • Possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (felony)
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia (felony)
  • Possession of a controlled substance with a prescription (misdemeanor)
  • Driving on a suspended license

Forkum's charges include:

  • Possession of a controlled substance (felony)
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia (felony)
  • Tampering with evidence (felony)
  • Possession of a controlled substance without a prescription

Wilson was cited for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of an instrument of crime.

Kent and Forkum are both being held at the Craighead County Detention Center waiting on a probable cause hearing. Wilson will be in court on July 8. Her bond is set at $1,290.
