MOUNTAIN HOME, AR (KAIT) – Police have recovered a stolen vehicle from Missouri after one of the suspects told on his girlfriend.
According to Mountain Home Police Chief Carry Manuel, James Lovan and Angela Blankenship were arrested as suspects in the incident.
On Monday, Chief Manuel said Lovan approached an officer and told him a vehicle at a nearby convenience store might have been stolen. Police say Lovan made the report after he and his girlfriend, Blankenship, got into a fight.
The vehicle was in Blankenship's possession and reportedly stolen from West Plains, MO, according to police.
Blankenship and Lovan are in the Baxter County Jail charged with felony theft by receiving. Bond was set at $25,000 each.
