Ballfield benefits from 2nd Annual Ride for the Miracle League

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT)- The 2nd annual ride for The Miracle League was at the Southside Softball Complex Saturday.

All money goes towards the Miracle League Field, which is a rubberized ballfield for children with special needs.

The event featured a bike show, scavenger hunt, car show, silent auction and food and games for the kids.

Sharron Turman is the softball coordinator with the city of Jonesboro and says she was pleased with the turnout. "This event is not just for children but it's for everybody and they've all come together to show their support," said Turman.

There was also live music and a petting zoo.
