Former Hog B.J. Young signs three-year deal with Rockets

FAYETTEVILLE (WholeHogSports.com) — BJ Young signed Monday with the Houston Rockets, ending a whirlwind month in which the former Arkansas standout went undrafted after forgoing his final two seasons of eligibility.

Young's deal is for three years with an unknown compensation, according to Houston Chronicle, though the newspaper reported Young had a "small first-year guarantee." If he were to make the Rockets' roster next season he would stand to make $490,180, the minimum pay for rookies according to terms in the league's 2011 collective bargaining agreement.
