HENRY COUNTY, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A man is behind bars after officials say they found a meth lab in his home in Henry County.

Michael Schwan was initially arrested for trafficking methamphetamine, but he ended up confessing to much more. The 29-year-old admitted to making meth, so a deputy went to his home in Liberty Center and found what he believed to be a meth lab.

A narcotics unit was called to the home to process the scene and carefully dismantle the lab.

"Meth is a big issue," said Sheriff Michael Bodenbender. "And we get tips on [traffickers, labs], and we're going to keep working on them."

Schwan was living in a house with his mother, but officials do not believe she was aware of the lab.

If you have any tips that could help officials crack down on meth in Henry County, call the sheriff's office at 419-592-8010.
