Henry County man arrested for trafficking, making meth

HENRY COUNTY, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A man is behind bars after officials say they found a meth lab in his home in Henry County.

Michael Schwan was initially arrested for trafficking methamphetamine, but he ended up confessing to much more. The 29-year-old admitted to making meth, so a deputy went to his home in Liberty Center and found what he believed to be a meth lab.

A narcotics unit was called to the home to process the scene and carefully dismantle the lab.

"Meth is a big issue," said Sheriff Michael Bodenbender. "And we get tips on [traffickers, labs], and we're going to keep working on them."

Schwan was living in a house with his mother, but officials do not believe she was aware of the lab.
