Baby bath seats recalled because of drowning hazard

MILFORD, CT (KAIT) – The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recalled bath seat for infants after they reportedly have tipped over.

According to the CPSC, the Thermobaby Aquababy Bath seats were recalled because of a drowning hazard.

The commission said the seat can tip over which can pose a risk of drowning to babies. The bath seats were sold online on Amazon.com from June 2012 through January 2013 for about $35.

The commission said consumers should immediately stop using the bath seats and contact SCS Direct, Inc. on how to receive a full refund at 1-888-749-1387.
