CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Jurors have found a woman guilty of aggravated murder in the antifreeze poisoning trial of her boyfriend.

Holly McFeeture was also found guilty for violating substance for human consumption.

McFeeture looked in disbelief and sobbed upon hearing the jury's verdict. She was promptly cuffed and taken to jail.

Between July 26, 2006, and July 30, 2006, McFeeture, 35, poisoned her boyfriend Matthew Podolak, 31, with antifreeze at their home located on Archmere Avenue in Cleveland.

In July 2006, Podolak began experiencing lower back pain and went to the doctor where he was treated for kidney stones. On July 30, 2006, Podolak was transported to the hospital in pain. His condition deteriorated. He was in extreme pain, disoriented, and vomiting. Podolak died the following day.

His death was ruled a homicide after additional evidence was obtained by Cleveland Police. McFeeture was arrested July 26, 2012 and released on bond August 7, 2012.

The defense claimed Podolak drank the antifreeze on his own to kill himself.
