DUNKLIN CO, MO (KAIT) - The Dunklin County Sheriff's Office is searching for two men accused of breaking into a home and threatening the residents with a gun.
According to Sheriff Bob Holder, police received a 911 call early Thursday morning from a home on County Road 405.
The caller told police they had been robbed by two black males who broke into the home at gun point. The victims say the two men demanded money.
But, police say they didn't get the cash they demanded. Instead, they ran off with an insurance check the residents recently received.
Police say the suspects ran from the house and got into a vehicle a short distance from the home.
The investigation is ongoing.
