Blytheville, AR -- Vice President Dick Cheney is scheduled to make his 4th campaign stop in Arkansas on Tuesday at the Staplcotn Warehouse in Blytheville. Cheney takes the stage at 10:30 a.m. for this ticket only G.O.P. rally.

Last minute preparations were underway for the Bush/Cheney rally on Monday in Blytheville. The republican party is expecting 1,500 supporters to swarm the warehouse, waving the red, white, and blue for the ticket's number 2 guy.

"People in Blytheville are very excited about the opportunity to see the Vice President and his wife, one of the only Vice Presidential stops that people around here will ever remember," said State Representative Marvin Childers.

Cheney will be taking the stage in front of a back drop emphasizing agriculture. This is not a theme you will hear at all campaign stops across the country, but here in Arkansas local republicans say it is a theme that matters to voters.

"I don't think there's any question in this campaign that president George W. Bush represents the values of everyday Arkansans," said Childers.

Republicans may be feeling confident about the Bush/Cheney ticket following recent polling taken by Time Magazine. The nationwide poll shows President Bush with a 10% lead over democratic challenger John Kerry. Nevertheless, Blytheville remains an undecided area, where both republicans and democrats tend to vote for the candidate with the best message rather than a specific party affiliation;  a task for Vice President Cheney, as he makes his 4th campaign stop in Arkansas.
