JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A Jonesboro home shot twice in less than a month. Bullets embedded in the home's exterior as well as bullet holes in the front door and inside the home mark two separate shootings at a home on Fairview Drive in Jonesboro.

"I probably hadn't been upstairs for about 30 minutes before I started hearing gunshots," the victim told Region 8 News. "If you open up the door, this couch right here, my daughter she watch her cartoons and stuff so before all that had happened, we was down here, sitting here watching TV."

The victim, who didn't want her face shown, told Region 8 News she believes 15 year old boy is the one behind both shootings.

According to the Jonesboro Police Report, she told officers she thinks the shooting stemmed from cross words exchanged about separate shooting incident a few months ago.

"He's endangering the lives of my family over something that's stupid really. It could be avoided," the victim said.

No one was injured in either incident. The victim's cousin, who was at a friend's house the night of the second shooting, told Region 8 News he didn't see the most recent incident but he did hear it. He said he automatically thought his cousin's house had been shot again.

"So I got ready to come out the door and that's when dude let loose some more. I don't know exactly how many he let loose, he just got to dumping," he said.

He said the situation could have been a lot worse because of where the bullets hit.

"It could've been anybody at this house. You look all over this wall, they went in there. This ain't no hitting this door and just stopping right there, they goin' in there. So I mean...dude needs to move on about his business."

The victim told us she prays this doesn't happen again.

"I feel like he's trying to hurt whoever's here. When he shoots, if they get hit, they get hit," the victim said.

A few hours later, there was another shooting in the same area. This time, it was a car that was shot at. According to that police report, the 15 year old boy the victim believes is responsible for shooting her home was in that vehicle. Police believe the incidents are related.

Region 8 News will continue to track this story.
