LSU ranked number 13 in USA Today's Preseason Top 25 Poll

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

USA Today released its Preseason Top 25 Poll Thursday morning and LSU will start the season ranked as the number 13 team in the country.

The Tigers are one of six SEC teams to make the Top 25.

SEC teams ranked ahead of LSU include: (1) Alabama, (5) Georgia, (6) Texas A&M, (7) South Carolina and (10) Florida.

At SEC Media Days, LSU was picked to finish third in the SEC West behind Alabama and Texas A&M.

The Tigers will face five opponents in the top 25 and four in the Top 10.

LSU's season opener with (20) TCU at AT&T Stadium in Dallas is only 30 days away.
