TX man arrested in Cross Co. Bank robbery

WYNNE, AR (KAIT) - Police have a man in custody accused of robbing the Cross County Bank north branch in Wynne on Thursday afternoon

According to Wynne police, William A. Delucci of Spring, TX was arrested on Thursday and charged with robbery.

Wynne Police Chief Jeff Sanders said at 12:53 p.m. Delucci went into the bank, handed the teller a note saying he had a gun. No gun was shown to the teller, according to police. The note also told the teller to hand over certain bills.

The teller gave Delucci the money and then walked out of the bank. A witness saw him walking out of the bank and alerted Arkansas State Police.

Sanders says he was captured near Earle.

Delucci's bond was set at $750,000 on Friday, according to police.
