SHARP COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – Marijuana Eradication Effortslanded a Sharp County woman in jail after police found pot plants in her backyard.
According to a news release from the Sharp County Sheriff'sOffice, several agencies, including sheriff's deputies, Arkansas Game and Fish,State Police, and the National Guard were conducting marijuana eradication effortson Thursday.
Air crews reportedly found pot plants behind a bar at ahome on Highway 167, south of Ash Flat.
Police say they found meth, guns, and processed marijuanain the home, during a search.
Police arrested 44-year-old Tammie Sweet.
She's in the Sharp County Jail. Sheriff Mark Counts saysformal charges are pending.
He says charges are also expected to be filed on anindividual that was not at the home at during that search.
