FAYETTEVILLE (U of A) – The University of Arkansas football team reported for 2013 preseason camp Sunday, attending meetings in the new Fred W. Smith Football Center.
The team's first practice will be held Monday afternoon. Practices for at least the first week are closed, but fans can find daily coverage on ArkansasRazorbacks.com.
Single-game tickets for the 2013 football season are on sale this week. Tickets for Fayetteville and Little Rock games will be for sale based on availability starting at 8:30 each morning. On Monday, Aug. 5, all active members of the Razorback Foundation will be able to purchase tickets online at ArkansasRazorbacks.com. In order to take advantage of this benefit of Razorback Foundation membership, members must log in by using their eTicket account.
On Wednesday, Aug. 7, in addition to Razorback Foundation members, all current season ticket holders will be able to purchase tickets online by using their eTicket account at ArkansasRazorbacks.com and on Thursday, Aug. 8, online sales are open to all. Beginning Friday, Aug. 9, single-game tickets can be purchased online, at the Razorback Ticket Center or by calling 800-982-HOGS (4647). Also on Friday, tickets for the two Little Rock games can be purchased at the War Memorial Stadium Ticket Office, which is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to take advantage of the Razorback Ticket Center's eTicket system, which features interactive options and print-at-home tickets.
In addition, a limited number of season tickets are still available. Tickets for Fayetteville and Little Rock games may be purchased online at ArkansasRazorbacks.com or by contacting the Razorback Ticket Center at 800-982-HOGS (4647). Season tickets for each Fayetteville game start at $255, with Little Rock season tickets beginning at $120.
The University of Arkansas football team will host its annual Fan Day presented by Pepsi on Sunday, Aug. 18 inside Bud Walton Arena from 2-4 p.m. Fan Day allows fans the opportunity to meet the Razorback student-athletes and head coach Bret Bielema. In order to allow as many people through as possible, a limit of one autograph item per person will be enforced. Following the Fan Day event, the Arkansas volleyball team will hold an intrasquad scrimmage open to the public inside Barnhill Arena.
The University of Arkansas is set to host the fifth annual Arkansas Razorback Football Kickoff Luncheon on Aug. 23 at Noon at the NWA Convention Center in Springdale. The doors will open at 11:15 a.m., and general admission tickets are $25 each. A reserved table for eight, with two seats for student-athletes or football personnel, is $300.
