CLEVELAND (Toledo News Now) -

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Vaughn Perry.

Perry is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and East Cleveland Police for murder.

It is alleged that back on July 3, Perry killed Maurice "Big Moe" Jackson near the 1800 block of Mount Union Avenue in East Cleveland. Authorities believe Perry thought his girlfriend was having an affair with Jackson and when he saw the two walking together, he waited in the darkness behind his girlfriend's residence. When his girlfriend and Jackson appeared, police say Perry stabbed and slashed Jackson to death with an unknown sharp instrument.

Perry is described as a 34-year-old black male standing approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 190 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

He is believed to be hiding somewhere in the Cleveland area. He also uses the alias "Mondale Hunter." Perry lived at the Mount Union address, but also has a previous address on Miles Road near E. 108th St. in Cleveland.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Vaughn Perry is encouraged to contact the NOVFTF at 1-866-4WANTED or text keyword "WANTED" with the tip to TIP411. Tipsters may remain anonymous. A cash reward may be available.
