JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A man suspected of stealing a truck with a 9 year old inside has posted bond.

Bryan Redden was arrested Saturday after a three day manhunt. He will not face kidnapping charges, according to police, because officers could not prove he intended to kidnap the child.

He will, however, face multiple counts of theft include one that is a felony.

While out covering an assignment not related to the theft, a Region 8 News crew recorded a man who fit the description of Redden walking down Fairview Drive shortly after the abandoned truck was found.

Jonesboro dispatch said a white four-door F-250 was stolen around 3:20 p.m. Thursday. There was reportedly a 9-year-old child inside the truck. About 30 minutes after it was stolen, dispatch says the child was located.

It is not clear why the child was inside the truck. Sgt. Waterworth advises parents to be cautious about their children's whereabouts. "Keep your child in sight. Don't let your child be left unattended because things like this can happen."
