Two arrested on drug charges in Jackson Co.

JACKSON COUNTY, AR (KAIT)- Police say two Sharp County men found themselves behind bars on drug charges following a traffic stop in Jackson County.

Police said Adrian Lopez and Jack Culbreath were pulled over Friday in a Chevy Impala. Police say the car they were driving was reported stolen in White County.

State Police officer Seth Higginbottom found baggies of met in Lopez's socks. Higginbottom's report also said he found digital scales in Lopez's pockets.

Lopez was arrested, but police say Culbreath took off running. He was later found.

Lopez said it was Culbreath who gave him the meth.

The Sharp County Sheriff's Office said both Lopez and Culbreath were arrested on charges of possession, drug paraphernalia, and theft by receiving.
