Veterans and spouses welcome at Tuesday job fair

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Veterans will have a big opportunity on Tuesday to possibly land a civilian job. A special Hiring Our Heroes job fair is set for the Hotel Preston near the Nashville airport.

The Hiring Our Heroes program is specially designed to connect veterans and their special set of skills to employers who can put them to work immediately.

Prior to the job fair, veterans can join a resume workshop at 9 a.m., and the job then runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hotel Preston, 733 Briley Pkwy.

The event is open to veterans and their spouses.

Interested job seekers should register for free at hoh.greatjob.net. Walk-in job seekers are allowed, and veterans must provide proof of service.
