Holyoke police searching for suspect involved in armed robbery at convenience store

HOLYOKE, MA (WSHM) -

The Holyoke Police Criminal Investigations Bureau needs the public's help in finding the man who allegedly robbed a convenience store while armed Wednesday morning.

According to Holyoke Police, the robbery happened at 224 Lyman St. in Holyoke at 10 a.m.

Police said the man was carrying a sawed-off shotgun and got away with cash by running toward Maple Street.

Officials describe the suspect as a Hispanic male with dark hair and a thin build, around 5'9 to 6'0 tall. 

Officials said he was wearing a tan shirt.

If anyone has information on this, they are urged to contact Holyoke Investigations at 413-322-6940.
