Stow: Boy escapes attempted abduction by biting man

STOW, OH (WOIO) -

Stow police say two men attempted to abduct a 6-year-old boy from a camp site on Friday.  

The incident happened at 5230 Young Road at the Silver Springs camp site.

According to police, the child says he was approached by a man who told him he was going to take him to this truck so that he could take him home.

The man then picked up boy, but the boy bit the man and was able to break free.

The boy was unable to tell officers exactly where the incident took place, but he did tell police that  there were two men involved.

The first man was described as a while male, 5' 10" to 6' tall, thin build, approximately 50 years old clean shaven wearing glasses.

The second man was described as a white male, approximately 5'7" tall, with brown hair and wearing a t-shirt.
