One injured in central Toledo drive-by shooting

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

One person is recovering after being shot inside a car in central Toledo.

According to police, the shooting happened around 11:30p.m. Saturday.

The victim was sitting in a car near the intersection of Isherwood Avenue and Macomber Street, when shots were fired into the car by a drive-by shooter.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are still investigating the cause of the shooting.
