Criminal instruction manual found in Trumann drug bust

TRUMANN, AR (KAIT) – Two men were arrested after police found drugs and over $4,000 during a traffic stop.

According to Chad Henson with Trumman Police, Raoul Simpson, 30, of Trumann, and Danny Ray Hawthorne, 34, of Springfield, Missouri, were pulled over with three ounces of meth, marijuana, LSD, Xanax, Hydrocodone, and Amphetamines.

Along with the drugs, a book titled, "How to be a successful criminal" was found. In the news release, Chad Henson told Region 8 News the book is a how-to on manufacturing and distributing products related to narcotics.

Police also seized the Ford Explorer they were driving.

Simpson is being charged with five counts of possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, driving on a suspended license, no proof of liability insurance, and false vehicle license.

Hawthorne is being charged with five counts of possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.
