Corning native and former WBC Eagle Kyle Harvey earns tryout with Indiana Pacers

Kyle Harvey, a native of Corning, Ark., and a 2013 graduate of Williams Baptist College has been invited for a workout with the Indiana Pacers of the NBA. He began his tryout with the team in Indianapolis on Wednesday.
Harvey was a two-time honorable mention All-American while at WBC. The 6'5'' forward averaged over 17 points and six rebounds per game. He shot over 50 percent on field goals from the field during his career at Williams. He was also selected as the Co-AMC Player of the Year in 2013.
Harvey competed in the European Summer League in Las Vegas this summer, where his play garnered him All-Star recognition for the league. He was even spotlighted for a highlight dunk during the sessions.
The Williams graduate is the son of John and Virginia Harvey of Corning.
