Sharp Co. man dead in weekend crash

MOUNTAIN VIEW, AR (KAIT) – One man is dead after a weekend crash in Stone County.

According to a crash report from Arkansas State Police, James Burton, 44, of Sidney died Saturday afternoon.

Police state Burton was driving a motorcycle west on Arkansas Highway 14 near Mountain View when he lost control, slid across the road and hit an embankment.

 Road and weather conditions at the time of the crash were dry and clear according to police.
