Sheriff: Convenience store robbed at gunpoint by masked suspects

CARDWELL, MO (KAIT) – Investigators in Dunklin County are looking for suspects in an early morning robbery.

According to Sheriff Bob Holder, the Flash Market Convenience Store on Missouri Highway F south of Cardwell was robbed at gunpoint around 3 a.m. Wednesday by three people wearing masks.

The store clerk told investigators the three suspects came into the store, jumped over the counter and took the cash register and cash box. They got away with the register and an unknown amount of money.

The clerk also said the suspects got into a small gold car and fled north on Highway F.

The sheriff said one of suspects was wearing a Halloween type of mask. They all wore dark hoodies as well.
