GUION, AR - A 22-year-old Arkansas woman has been missing for days, prompting a search of the countryside around Guion in Izard County.

Searchers used dogs and a helicopter yesterday as they looked for Rebekah Gould.

Izard County Sheriff Joe Martz says there is nothing new.

According to authorities, Gould visited a friend at Guion last weekend, then failed to return to Fayetteville, where she was going to a junior college.  She was last seen Monday.  Her car, with her purse, keys and money in it, was found at the friend's house.

Rebekah had been attending school at Ozarka College in Melbourne and had transferred to the junior college in Fayetteville.

Larry Gould, her father and a Mountain Home dentist, said he wants the search expanded to Mountain View and Batesville.  He has asked residents in those areas to check their property for signs of his daughter.
