From Williams Baptist College
The Williams Baptist College Lady Eagles Soccer squad fell to the University of the Ozarks 5-1 on Saturday in Clarksville.
For the Eagles, Jonesboro native Presley Owen scored in the second half, cutting the deficit to 2-1. Hailey Norris also had ten saves for Williams.
"Presley was playing on a hurt ankle. She did very well and deserved the goal. The girls are improving each time they step on the field," said Head Coach Shane Stolz.
Victoria Romero led University of the Ozarks by scoring two goals.
The next game for the Lady Eagles is their conference opener against Freed-Hardeman University on Tuesday. The game is scheduled for a 2 pm start time in Walnut Ridge.
