Police searching for two suspects after armed robbery

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT)-  A robbery caught on camera shows two masked suspects robbing a Jonesboro gas station at gunpoint Monday night.

Jonesboro Police officers arrived at Jordan's Qwik Shop on E. Nettleton Ave. around 9:30 p.m. Monday. The store clerk told officers she was by herself behind the counter when two males walked in.

One suspect reached over the counter, grabbed an empty cigar box, and filled it with money while his armed accomplice pointed the gun at the clerk.

Both suspects ran away, but dropped a roll of nickels on the sidewalk. Police used this clue to track the suspects with a K9, but lost the trail on Stevens St.

The first suspect, who was armed, was described as 20-25 years old, 5 feet 10 inches, and 150-160 pounds. He was wearing a navy blue hooded jacket, a navy blue ski mask, dark pants and white tennis shoes.

The second man was described as 20-25 years old, 5 feet 11 inches tall, and 150-160 pounds. He was wearing a dark hooded jacket, gray pants, and a camouflage mask.
