Henderson State moves to #8 in AFCA poll

ARKADELPHIA, AR (HSUSports.com) - Following its 44-35 victory on the road over Southeastern Oklahoma, Henderson State moved up to No. 8 in the latest American Football Coaches Association Poll.

Henderson State, 3-0 on the season, leads the nation in total offense (681.0 yards per game), passing offense (466.3 yards per game) and scoring (67.0 points per game.

The Reddies will attempt to run their streak to 16 straight regular-season wins dating back to 2011. Henderson State has a 12-1 record all-time Great American Conference record.

Henderson State will next play host to East Central on Saturday with kickoff set for 3 p.m. at Carpenter-Haygood Stadium.
