Sheriff: Anonymous tip leads to Greers Ferry man's arrest

CLEBURNE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – A Greers Ferry man was arrested Saturday after deputies conducted a search of his home and found drugs and paraphernalia.

According to the Cleburne County Sheriff's Office, they received an anonymous tip about criminal activity inside the home of Andrew Hines.

While speaking with Hines at his doorstep, officers were able to see enough items of contraband and criminal activity to arrest him and get a search warrant.

After searching his home, Hines, 50, was charged with possession of paraphernalia with intent to manufacture methamphetamine and felony possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was taken to the Cleburne County Detention Center where he was give n a $50,000 bond.
