Man discovered floating on pot in the ocean

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Police said a man swam across the Mexican border, floating on more than fifty pounds of marijuana.

U.S. Border Patrol agents responded to reports of a man swimming in the ocean near the U.S.-Mexico border and questioned the 55-year-old Mexican citizen.

Authorities found he didn't have any documents to be in the United States and was arrested and taken to a nearby border patrol station.

They discovered seven bundles of marijuana in the man's duffle bag, valued at nearly $24,000.
