PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) – An argument between a Paragould couple ends with shots fired.
Paragould police were called out to a home on East Emerson Street in response to shots being fired. When officers arrived, they found Jennifer Worley walking from the home.
According to police, Worley said that her and her boyfriend of 17 years, Kevan Leake, 34, got into an argument. Worley got in the couple's car to leave and Leake shot at the car several times while she was inside.
Police found the car with four bullet holes in the hood. A 9 mm handgun along with four shell casings and four bullets from the car were recovered from the scene.
Leake has been charged with one count of terroristic act. His bond has been set at $100,000.
