Police release name of man killed in accident involving a mobile home

GREENE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - The Greene County Sheriff's Department has released the name of the man killed in an accident involving a mobile home Friday afternoon.

According to Greene County Sheriff Dan Langston, 53-year-old Donald Wayne Robertson of Gosnell was killed when the double-wide mobile home he was working on fell, crushing him.

Sheriff Langston was the first to arrive just before 12 p.m. at the two-acre plot of land located on Greene County Road 507.

One of the mobile home owners said he and his wife did not see the accident, but he called 911 after hearing the structure fall and a crew member yelling.

Witnesses of the accident told police a section of the trailer shifted, slid off concrete blocks, and landed on Robertson's chest.

According to the mobile home owner, the crew from the Blytheville-based company Affordable Homes started the project Thursday.
