A-State rallies for 2-1 soccer win over UALR

JONESBORO, AR (AP) - Arkansas State rallied with two goals in the final five minutes to claim a 2-1 win in college soccer over Arkansas-Little Rock.

UALR's Paige Mason gave the Trojans a 1-0 lead with a goal less than four minutes into Sunday's game in Jonesboro.

The Red Wolves' Loren Mitchell tied the game with a goal with less than five minutes to play and ASU's Samhia Simao scored what proved to be the game-winning goal about two minutes later.

UALR falls to 3-7 overall and 0-1 in the Sun Belt Conference. Arkansas State improves to 6-3-2 on the season and 1-0 in conference play.
