JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – October is "National Breast CancerAwareness Month" and St. Bernards is working to make sure Region 8 women are knowledgeableabout breast cancer.
This is the fifth year for "Go Pink for the Cure Day."
St. Bernards rolled out the "St. Bernards Mobile Women'sHealth Unit" on Friday to provide free mammograms to uninsured women.

"It's important because that isthe most likely time when women would have breast cancer. So it's veryimportant that they do their breast self-exams and also be examined by a doctorand get a mammogram in that age group." said Julie Adamson.
Because of the popularity of Friday's event,St. Bernards will provide free examinations on October 12 at the SouthwestChurch of Christ. Doors will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
