GREENE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -The 4-H group of GreeneCounty kicked off their national 4H week with a One Day of Service Food Drive.

The items collected onSaturday were donated to three food pantries in Greene County. The statewideevent brought in enough items to assemble 2,400 care packages last year, andthe Greene County team was hoping to beat that number this year.

Team leader Mallory Claysays the One Day of Service event is a way for the group to say thanks and giveback. "A lot of food drives have like baby formula and stuff for babies andtoddlers and a lot of people don't think about that," said Clay. "That'ssomething else to keep in mind too when you're shopping."

The Greene County 4H teamwas stationed at both Hays locations in Paragould and Cash Saver.
