    Two Jonesboro women had to be rescued from the roof of their house after police say a man opened fire on them.

WHITE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – An 87-year-old man is dead following a two-car crash in White County.

The crash happened Wednesday morning on State Highway 36.

According to Arkansas State Police, Harold Bomar, 87, of Rosebud was backing out of a driveway onto State Highway 36 when he turned into the path of an oncoming truck.

Bomar was airlifted to a Little Rock hospital. The driver of that truck was not injured.
