From Arkansas State University
The Arkansas State Athletics Department announced Wednesday it has created a "limited mobility drop-off pass" for the remaining four home games on its 2013 football schedule.
The pass was designed to accommodate fans who have a difficult time accessing Liberty Bank Stadium on game days due to a disability or limited physical mobility. It will strictly serve as a convenient option to drop off fans with limited mobility near the stadium's west-side entrances and will not double as a parking pass. Fans are asked to please proceed to their designated parking area or to general parking immediately after completing their escort.
The pass may be used by entering onto A Street off University Loop near the ASU Pavilion. Fans may continue to the stadium's west-side entrances and then exit the lot by using the same route they entered.
The escort must be completed at least 45 minutes prior to kickoff. Due to high traffic congestion following the game's completion, the athletics department cannot guarantee access back to the drop-off area for at least one hour.
The limited mobility drop-off passes can be obtained beginning Thursday, Oct. 10, after 2 p.m. at the Red Wolves Foundation offices, located at the lower green entrance to the Convocation Center. Including this Friday, Oct. 11, they will remain available Monday through Friday at the Red Wolves Foundation offices between the hours of 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Director of Athletics Terry Mohajir said the limited mobility drop-off pass was created in response to fan feedback. Stressing the desire to provide the highest level of service to A-State fans, Mohajir has encouraged and continues to welcome suggestions to the athletics department.
