RANDOLPH COUNTY, AR (KAIT) –The sounds of Rock and Roll filled the air in downtown Pocahontas on Saturday as Randolph County held its annual Rock and Roll Highway 67 Music Festival.
This festival celebrates the Rock N' Roll history along Highway 67.
The event featured local vendors and live music from local bands. This year also featured a children's section for the first time. All proceeds collected from that section go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Melanie Clay, committee member for the festival, said that although there are many reasons that she looks forward to this event every year, one reason stands out. "To bring the community together so we can keep growing and learning each other and meeting new people."
The event lasted from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday.
