JONESBORO, AR (KAIT)- Westside islooking to its patrons to plan the future of the school district.
Monday night marked thefirst of three, "Westside Vision 2027" meetings.
Superintendent BryanDuffie said they're looking that far ahead to pave the way for some of theiryoungest students. Duffie said school districts must realize they are in acompetitive market.
"There are a lot ofquality school districts in the state. And how do we make Westside anattractive choice for parents, students and people just moving to the area."
These meetings look atwhat students should know upon graduation as well as programs, facilities andtechnologies the school should add or tweak.
Other meetings are set tobe held on Tuesday night at 6 p.m. at the Elementary school and next Tuesday at6 p.m. at the high school.
