Pocahontas police charge three people with felony drug charges

POCAHONTAS, AR (KAIT) – The Pocahontas Police Department charged multiple people on felony meth charges.

On Tuesday, police arrived to arrest Elias Negron Torres, 28, and Tammy Pratt, 49, at the Oak Creek Apartments for delivery of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and delivering within the proximity to certain facilities.

 According to the report, police searched the two apartments where the suspects were located and found meth paraphernalia in both apartments.

Police said Timothy Hendrix, 35, was also involved with this investigation but was already detained in the Randolph County Jail on unrelated charges. He has been charged with the same charge as Torres and Pratt.

The apartment complex is near a church. If convicted of the proximity to certain facilities charge, the three suspects will serve a mandatory ten years before serving any other sentence they are charged with.

Bond was set at $25000 for all three suspects.
