JPD investigating pawn shop burglary

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – Jonesboro Police are investigating a pawn shop burglary.

According to the police report, someone stole several items from Totem Pole Pawn Shop on North Culberhouse.  Police say it happened Thursday night, sometime between 10:30 and 11:30.

The suspect was caught on surveillance video cutting away a fenced area and stealing a handy man jack, and two ladders. The suspect is then caught using bolt cutters to cut the lock on a gate.

Police say the man pulled around and loaded a shop vac and air compressor into a SUV.

Officer Lane Holmes says they may have a suspect. He's believed to have broken into the same pawn shop in 2010.

As of Friday night, no arrests have been made.
