Woman arrested after police say she hid meth in her “crotch area”

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – Two people were arrested after police checked up on a parolee and learned a woman hid meth in her "crotch area."

According to Officer James Ebbert with Jonesboro Police, officers were called out on Monday to Medallion Circle to help two probation officers.

They were trying to arrest Kyle Bowman for a probation violation.

Police say when they arrived, a friend of Bowman drove him around the block to hide him from police.

He was arrested and that friend, 23-year-old Racheal Robinson, was interviewed by police.

According to the police report, she admitted to driving him around the block to avoid officers. She also told police she had drugs on her. She said it was given to her by a friend who was arrested earlier that day.

When asked where it was, Officer Ebbert said she told him it was in her underwear.  That's when she pulled out a small bag "from her crotch area" and gave it to officers.

The reports states that meth, a half-pill of oxycontin, and a razor blade were in the small bag.

She was arrested and taken to the Craighead County Jail, along with Bowman.

He's charged with parole violation. Police say he also had an out of town warrant.

Robinson is charged with felony controlled substance, hindering apprehension, and driving while suspended.
