THIBODAUX, LA (WAFB) -

An ex-employee has been arrested on burglary charges, and police are looking for her accomplice.

According to the office of Thibodaux's Police Chief Scott Silverii, a business was allegedly burglarized by its former employee, 29-year-old Ashley Kelley of Thibodaux, La.

Police say Kelley had been fired from her former place of employment on the 900 block of Canal Blvd. On Tuesday, September 24th, Kelley and her boyfriend at the time, Kevin Boudreaux, trashed the establishment just before stealing several hundred dollars.

Police also revealed that during the investigation, they learned there were 4 separate incidents where Kelley had stolen cash from the cash register.

Kelley was arrested for Simple Burglary and 4 counts of theft. She is being held at the Lafourche Parish Detention Center on a $50,500 bond.

Meanwhile, Kevin Boudreaux "remains at large", according to the Thibodaux Police Department.

If you have any information on Boudreaux's whereabouts, you are urged to contact the Thibodaux Police Department at 985-446-5021.
