Posted: Updated:
MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - Two fire fighters are in the hospital after responding to a call about a fire.

Apparently, while inside the home, the ceiling fell on one fire fighter. He was taken to St. Francis for a possible head injury and elevated blood pressure.

A female fire fighter was also injured and taken to St. Francis. Doctors are looking at her back.

The house fire began at 5287 Collingwood Road.

Investigators believe the incident was caused because cooking oil was left unattended.
