PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT)- The Greene County Rescue Squad held a training class Saturday with instructors from the National Association of Search and Rescue. All the training focused on responding to emergencies.
The squad trained in a 16 hour class that focuses on everything from organizing a search, to how to properly use resources to resolve issues.
An instructor with the program, Steve Scott, said, "this particular training is offered throughout the state. Myself and the other instructors do travel state wide for individual county search units or private search units."
Members of Paragould, Lafe Police, and Lafe Fire Department also attended the training.
