JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – The community said farewell to someone whose served our area for over 20 years.
Bob "the blood man" Draper worked with the Red Cross for almost 28 years. On Monday, he retired.
He worked tirelessly on countless blood drives and has been a familiar face here on KAIT, representing the Red Cross and its' lifesaving mission.
Draper said he is very thankful for this community. "The Red Cross has always been close to me as ya'll know," he said. "I just want to thank everyone for the support and all the years in being blood donors."
This isn't the last this town is going to see of Mr. Draper though. He said he is going to be helping out in the care center at the First Baptist Church.
