Oklahoma replaces LSU with UCLA in 2018 and 2019

Posted: Updated:
Norman, OK (WAFB) -

Oklahoma announced Wednesday that it will host the UCLA Bruins in Norman on Sept. 8, 2018, while the Sooners are scheduled to travel to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif., on Sept. 14, 2019.

With the addition of UCLA to Oklahoma's schedule, the Sooners and LSU are currently working to re-schedule their previously announced home-and-home series.

LSU was originally slated to play in Norman in 2018 and in Baton Rouge in 2019. The two schools are looking at dates in later years to reschedule those two games.

LSU is currently looking at possible opponents for its 2018 and 2019 non-conference schedule.

Oklahoma will open the 2014 football season against Louisiana Tech on Aug. 30 in Norman.
